audigy 2 zs drivers

i just bought an audigy 2 zs sound card, but i dont have the driver cd ( i bought it on the forums here). i tired to use the driver update on the creative site but it says it cant detect any sound blaster installed in my system. if some one could please link me somewhere where i could get the drivers that come on the cd, or even better if someone could .iso there cd and host it somewhere for me. thanks

that makes no sense at all.
I had to download the drivers from soundblaster because the cd ones were causing to many problem.

I suspect you have another problem
did you disable and eliminate old drivers?
is it plugged in securely?
try another slot?
Is the card defective?

there are 3 drivers shown there the one i got last was the 1-84-50 looks like its up to 1-84-55 now.

i know it is detected. it shows up in device manager as multimedia audio controller. i've tried all 3 of those drivers at the creative site

you want the first one others are addons.
how did you attempt to load the driver?
when you reboot and windows wants to find it for you just cancel out then click on the audigy download and install it.

you did disable onboard sound or whatever you were using before right?

i dont know how to do that. im using onboard sound on my soltek sl-k8an2e-gr

To disable the onboard sound, you just go into the BIOS, and i think it's usually the "Integrated Peripherals" menu (if you have Award BIOS). It's usually an option like "Onboard AC97 codec" or something like that (dependent on the onboard sound type).

You can use WINRAR to extract the contents of the update files that you download from Creative and find the drivers inside. Then, you can use those to update your drivers only and it will not give you an error.

I have the SAME exact problem as you, same card to, i called creative up and just ordered a new one, cost me 8$ total, it should be comin in the mail any day now...
