Good morning folks! I recently bought an Audigy2 card and a Antec SX1040BII case. I want to hookup the firewire cable from the front of the case to the onboard firewire of the card, but can't. The Case's firewire connector is in separate pins, not one solid plug. The Audigy2 does not have any numbered/labeled pins on that firewire connecter. I downloaded the Online manual for the card and it has nothing in it about the firewire pins. I contacted support @ creative and they got back to me with "Unfortunately, I don't have the specifications to the firewire pins on this card. You might try contacting our developer support, at http://developer.creative.com"
Well... I haven't tried those guys yet, but I went to their website and it looks like it is only for developer type people (of course).
Soooo... I was wondering if anyone here had this issue and/or has found the layout of the pins on the Audigy2 card? I would really like to use that front firewire port. Thanks in advance.
**I did post this in the Technical Support forum also... just wanted to make sure that more people will see it and can offer assistance. Thanks**
