So last night I'm burning a couple of audio CD's onto some old Maxwell (74 min) CD-Audio discs I bought a long time ago (+2 years). The burning process goes just fine, but when I stick the CD into another computer to listen to it I start having weird problems. The first 7-8 tracks on the CD's are perfectly OK, but after that my CDROM's start having problems reading the tracks. It's like it can't find the beginning of the tracks and continuously searches. I tried them in multiple computers, in different CDROM's, in DVD drives, in CDRW drives, and all seem to have the same issue. So I went to bed figuring the CD's are just crappy or something like that.
This morning, I bring the CD's with me to listen to on my ride to work, figuring I can at least listen to the first couple of songs on each CD like I had before. Here's the really strange part, they work flawlessly in my car stereo. Every track is ok, I can listen to all the tracks on the CD, no searching problems, nothing out of the ordinary. If it matters, it's the factory CD player in a Honda Accord.
Anyone want to comment or take a guess what the issue(s) might be with trying to play them in my computers but not in my car?
