I'm Lorn -- 22 year-old morbid ass fool originally out of the Midwest, currently in Brooklyn, NYC. I've released a few things, but am currently working on my debut full-length album "Nothing Else".

80% grey, make that 20%, on a translucent table will do that for you.

He's right, the text is way too dark.

i have a little experience mixing. what are you trying to do? your song army of fear is pretty good and i would probably like most of it if it was higher quality and not compressed. What software are you using? I have used logic mostly. the music on there sounds way way overly compressed, are you using a brick wall? does your wave form look like a big box? and it sounds like you are EQing the hell out of most of it, though it may just be because of the player.

Hmm.. I'll look into it, I guess. The text displays perfectly fine on every Mac I've used, especially the one I built the layout with. Might be an issue of monitor calibration, but who knows.
Regardless, I'm looking for an engineer.
It's hard to read on mine too. But of course your color choice is correct... is what I'm gleaning from your tone.Originally posted by: Doctor Nyse
