I'd like to share with everyone the last shoot I did for Austin Fashion Week and generate some discussion on shooting and putting yourself out there! I'd love to get your comments/critiques, answer any questions you might have, and hope to just inspire everyone to push the limits of what you think you're capable of.

This is a composite image with the dress being a separate set of layers in photoshop overlayed onto the model using a Screen blending layer. I used strip banks behind both sides of the model to create the rim, a beauty dish above and to camera left, and a bare strobe pointed at the white wall behind me to add some fill light. For the light dress, I did several 5" exposures while waving some lights at the camera in a pitch black environment. Let me know if you have any questions!
