Auto Brokers?

Has anyone had any success using a broker to buy a new car? It looks like they're free for you and they do all the negotiating, arranging the test drives, etc for you.

They also have national contacts so that you're not limited to your local dealerships...

A broker is really a buying service. They are not affiliated with the factory in any way, and cannot buy new cars. Their existance is based on the fact that some people are in fear of the negotiatiing process, or are otherwise not so good at it.

Brokers normally get their fee from the customer or the dealer, with whom they've negotiated the deal.

They are not free...nothing ever is.
