Autobike for 130 + 40 shipping

This seems like a good deal to me since most other places wants about 200 for this bike. Of course Target still has better prices on clearance bikes. But not having to deal with gears is good.

The bike itself gets pretty good reviews on epinions 3...

I have not purchased anything from seattletraders before. If anyone can find a better place to get this item please post it here.

You do know AutoBike went bankrupt a couple of years ago and really no longer exists.....seems this web site has access to a supply of them AutoBike wasn't able to unload on unsuspecting suckers.

You see, it's about as cheap a bike as can be....honestly, you'd be much better off with a, and I hate to say this, with a WalMart Mongoose. The autoshifting mechanism of the AutoBike is a joke....and you're never in the right gear, the crank is a kid's one-piece steel piece of crap, the bike weighs about 45#, the spokes aren't stainless which means they rust, and when the spokes rust, the sliders (the mobile things that move as you pedal and force the rear derailleur to change gears) begin to bind and quit moving. This isn't even discussing the quality of the frame welding or other parts dangling off the overly heavy frame.....made of mild steel, something best reserved for kids' bikes.

As for its warranty, durability, etc.....there is none of either. Most I've encountered were heading for the dumpster.....usually within the first year.

haha, C'DRider, and i was gonna post about that mongoose that wal-mart is selling for $85 too!
what about the mongoose a40 for $199? this thing has such fat weld beads, it's got to be sturdy!
