dont mean to thread crap, but you guys are funny, you judge how a speaker would sound by its weight?? it is incredible? have you ever listen to it with your own ears before? to quote someone from avsforum, "Unless the speakers are mail order or internet only brands, there aren't many supporters on AVS." I've been to the av123 forum, and looks like there are lot of 'xxx is awesome, I am saving my money to buy it' hypersters there. How do they know it's awesome, it doesnt sound like they've ever heard them in person before? This is how hype starts, one person that have never heard of the speakers saying that its awesome, and the words get around, next thing you know, everyone is telling everyone so and so is awesome, and yet none of them haven't ever heard it with their own ears. I have no doubt rockets, av123 have OK or maybe even good sounding speakers, or else they won't have this many followers, but I bet most of the rockets/av123 owners didn't even bother to goto any retail store to some audtioning before they bought their speakers based on the hype, and since this is your first pair of so called highend speakers you have, you really don't have anything to compare it to, so you don't really know whats awesome, and what is just OK. (be honest, you know who you are. ). Speakers shoppers, do yourself a favor, go auditon some speakers at your local retailer, educate yourself on what to look for when buying speakers, and buy what sounds good to your ears, not hype.
