Well, i had a plea for a avantgo channel all typed out, until i actually read this thread. The avantgo channel will rock, it might even rate up there with my Maxim online channel. Is there any way to get the forums into a channel for people with real handhelds? (pock...cough.et.cough.cough.pc.cough.cough...IPAQ..cough..cough) Maybe not the entire forum, but maybe generaly hardware since it is the most visited? The forum part will probably not happen, but thanks for the main site channel. BTW, is anand ever going to review more handhelds or laptops? I'm sure we'll see something with the new NVIDIA chip, but I haven't even seen a mention of pocketpc's. NFS4, why dont you write a review on yours?

Whenever AvantGo can get the channel approved They have had the submission for 2 weeks now.

K anandtech now has avantgo support for the main site. It wont happen for the forums way too much data. Link is on the menu and on the left column. Enjoy.

So I wasn't the only one who sent an e-mail asking for an Avantgo channel. I sent it in a couple months ago and thought it was ignored. Glad it wasn't. Forums would be possible though. There is something like that on another channel I subscribe to. You could have users customize the amount of posts to display and what catagories to display. You could write posts on the go and each time you sync it would be updated. The channel I'm talking about is called Palm Infocenter. Anyway thats just my 2 cents. And BTW we all know that the amount of third party software available for a pocketpc doesn't even come close to that of the palmOS...

OK, time for the first complaint about the AvantGo support

When I go to read a full article, on each page I am presented with a full table of contents and a &quot;home&quot; link. It would be very helpful if there was a &quot;next&quot; link that would take you to the next page in the review, instead of having to scroll back up to the TOC and select the next page there.

Nah its not possible at all channels are typically 300k.. one large thread and there goes 300k. We aren't interested in doing avantgo for the forums entirely too dynamic. Actually it takes the company itself to contact avantgo, it really had nothing to do with user emails, they are appreciated though.

Zuni: I have some other channels that have a capability like this- CNet News.com lets you browse all the stories in a row without hitting up the &quot;home&quot; page. Economist channel lets you read all the editorials in a row. Is there some fundamental difference in the structure of these channels and the AnandTech channel?
