Avast File Reputation Warning popups

I get these two Avast warnings every time I start my computer:

1) File Reputation Warning
The file you are downloading seems to be very new or very rare.
File: AdobeFlashPlayer_14.0.0.125_ActiveX_SPS.exe
Origin: http://dl.secunia.com/SPS/AdobeFlashPlayer_14.0.0.125_ActiveX_SPS.exe
Digital signature: Not present
Downloaded by: C:\ProgramFiles\Secunia\PSI\PSIA.exe

2) File Reputation Warning

I always choose to complete the download instead of aborting the connection. Adobe Air, Adobe Flash Player 13 Active X, Adobe Flash Player 13 Plugin, and Adobe Reader are listed in my Control Panel. Thanks for any replies.

And the other one I don't see much of anything about, but rule of thumb is if it came from Adobe it is probably fine.

I played around with Avast a few times over the years, and I either saw nothing out of this tool, or I got false warnings, so I ended up turning it off in either case.

If I get rid of Avast what scanner should I replace it with? One scanner and one firewall are supposed to be used from what I understand, and they need to be compatible. What pair of scanner and firewall is a good choice?

There are lots of options out there. You could just turn off the file reputation warning and use your best judgment. If the file is coming from a reputable site, you should be fine.

I think that the reason it flags you those files is because it doesn't find the certificates of those executables, so it cannot confirm that they really come from adobe... what i don't know is if they really don't have the certificates(and why) or if it simply doesn't detect the certificates.

How do I turn off the file reputation warnings? They are still popping up.
