he phrases pre-emptive attack and fight terror with terror automatically make them Americans when everyone has already proved they are not?
Where is there any proof in the movie that they are not Americans? For one thing lets point out the fact that they speak ENGLISH, they military people were MARINES, one of the characters wears a STANFORD shirt, etc. How can you say that this movie is not Anti-capitalist or anti-American. Whether or not it spells it out it is clear what the director was thinking about. The military guys are Blackwater contractors, the mining company is someone like Exxon Mobile or Peabody Energy, the top guy is George Bush (he uses like 5 direct quotes).
It is not OK to obliterate a foreign culture simply because they happen to be sitting on something you want.
They weren't trying to kill them at first, they just wanted them to move somewhere else. In this world that is a generally accepted way of doing business. If there is a resource that can help help and the person who owns the land won't leave then they are made to leave. If you don't like that fact stop using coal and copper, and aluminum, and natural gas, or any other material that has to be mined. Hell, if you think its bad to move 100 people in order to solve an energy crisis then God only knows what you must think about the fact that way more people then that were moved to build a new basketball stadium for the New Jersey Nets (and those that refused to move were arrested).
