Disney has mad it official, announced an agreement to buy X-Men and FF for Marvel. Only leaves 3 "characters" not under their full control that I'm aware of.
That's kind of an awkward way to put it. They bought pretty much all of Fox except for the Sports, News and broadcast stations. (Disney owns ABC, so it can't legally own FOX network.) Because of that, Disney now owns the rights to Fantastic Four, X-Men and Deadpool.
What I'm hoping this means is that we stop getting so many sequels for existing properties and that Marvel will begin exploring working on entries with some of these newer properties. Not having multiple competing studios might also mean that we get less comic book fatigue as Marvel usually only does two movies per year. Although, Marvel seems to be getting a bit better with their sequels, so I'm not as wary about getting more of them.
If they nerf him w/ full IG i'd be irritated, but they need to introduce his weakness somehow in a way that isn't deus ex machina as mentioned already.
They'll likely make him not as powerful, or we'll see the introduction of Adam Warlock to help take on Thanos. It's too bad Marvel didn't get some of their properties back sooner as we'd get some even more interesting people to use.
