Probably not too much with air cooling. Using peltiers, water, etc, you might get the 4Ghz+ that some users have gotten, but those solutions are expensive.

Just set it to 4ghz and see what it does. Up the voltage to 1.8v if you have to. After all, you can always RMA it if it frys, right Vonkhan?

NEVARRRR! It's only been like 2 days. Give me a week, I'll forget. His current system of ignoring me is very effective, that way I don't bookmark threads and go back to fight about it. I really have a short attention sp

Nebor, u're an idiot ... someone should RMA u to the maker with a note "Brain was DOA"

Back on topic:

I was using a silent but wimpy Zalman 7000AlCu and I got my 3.2c upto 3.6

Plugged in a Thermaltake Slk-947 w/ a tornado (yeh, bleeding ears) and now its happy at 3.72

Considering a Swiftech kit, but I dont wanna spend close to $200 retail (or $120 off the FS/T forum) if I cant get it any higher

Nebor, you are what is technically known as a pen|s. Only slag him for RMA'ing a god-damn CPU if you live your life in a perfect, pure, never-do ANYTHING-wrong way. If not, keep your mouth shut, you're extremely irritating.

I agree with Nebor, if you fry your memory at 3.0V and try to return it you're a jackass. You do realize that the replacement cost of your RAM actually costs money.

Are those your actual voltages or just what you set in the BIOS? Because 1.675 actual is definately high for a "C", but if it's actually running it at 1.6 or 1.62V that is fine.

There's a hard volt mod that I read about quite a while ago ... but that'd require mad skills w/ micro-soldering, I'd guess

I love this MAX3 worth every penny!
