avi to dvd converter

Looking for a good free program to convert .avi file to dvd files. Anybody have any suggestions. Thanks

Well, there's a Nero free trial...

VSO DivxtoDVD is a great program that does that, plus has DVD authoring (menus, etc.) as part of the program. I'm not sure if it's still free, though.

TMPGENC I think has a free trial but is also well worth paying for. Give it a shot.

Thanks for the recommendations. I think all the ones listed you pay for though. I know atleast convert X and VSO. Not sure about Tempgenc. I don't really convert alot of these files so thats the reason why i was looking for free. Don't want to pay for something to convert 2 files a year.

I have Nero 6 but i think you need 7 to do it. Unless you know of a way i don;t
