I've built 10 or so chairs (cheap ones) like these...

The key is once you get the seat set up on it's base. Figure out the left and right arms and there are 4 holes in each arm. Put 2 screws in the Lower Arms first and only tighten about a turn - turn and half.

The KEY is to keep it as loose as possible. So that the arms just flop around... Once you have the the arms on the bottom with just two screws loosely holding them then it's pretty easy to get the back screwed in.... That way you can adjust the arms up and down. Again, just finger tight the remaining screws into the back. Ones all screws are in... Tighten them all...


Done...

By the way is there a wight limit on these chairs sometimes they won't say on the box but I bought a chair from target once... Said the limit was 225lbs I'm a bit over that... So, I used it for about a week and didn't like the chair ... took it apart and used that as the excuse (not to mention it felt really cheap)....

It's a little tricky, but the trick is to put all 4 screws in just a little bit at once - put each screw in a few turns, just enough to hold the arm in place, then go around and screw each one down.
