Available in Black (SKU 555381) or Brown (SKU 674751). Available in-store for $59.99 or online with free shipping.

Notes:
-Available in Black or Brown
-$59.99 in-store or online (free shipping)
-Offer expires June 14th
-"Manager's" chair - upright back
-Lumbar support built-in (but not the annoying kind that feels weird)
-Fake leather material
-Tilt lock and height adjustment
-15-year manufacturer limited warranty
-Great chair for the price
-Box fits in the back of a Saturn sedan
-Easy assembly (Staples will build it for you for $7.99, but it comes with a hex wrench and goes together quickly and easily)

This is a surprisingly awesome chair for $60. Normally it's $100, but it's on sale this week for $40 off. This is a great chair if you're having back problems due to slouching...it has a straight back and lumbar support and fits my back perfectly, unlike many of the so-called "ergonomic" chairs that feel like someone is kicking you in the small of your back. I got the brown model, which looks like chocolate instead of regular brown. I thought it looked better than the standard black fake-leather model.

 for good cheap chairs!

Stupid question: How's the recline on it? Does it go pretty far back, or is it locked to like ~10 degrees? I'm digging the 15 year warranty. I've had several of the cheap Office Depot chairs break on me.

@OP, do you know if you can remove the arm rests on this chair or are they part of the frame? (I have bad shoulders and my arms need to hang free)

I'd say decently far, like medium-far. Enough to lean back and kick your feet up easily. You can adjust the tension by spinning the big knob in the middle of the bottom of the chair to make it easier or harder to lean back.

No, the arm rests hold the seat and back together. Take them off and the back falls off

I'm just curious.......how one can buy a chair without ever sitting in it first? I went through a few weeks of trying out chairs recently and they all seem to "sit" differently. Longer or shorter seats, seat back more or less angled, thicker or thinner padding, lumbar in strange places. After trying almost every chair I found in OD, OM, Staples, very few actually were comfortable to me. And I'd think that'd be the case for most people.....few chairs would be truly comfortable.....so how do you buy one without ever trying it out? Not worried about it sucking for fitting you?

I sat in it at my local Staples. I'm in the same boat - I don't like most chairs. This one isn't plush-comfy, but it's all-day usable. And the back is PERFECT for me - straight up with lumbar support. Much easier to have good posture with this chair.

For a desk chair, I don't like the high back or the leather, fake or real. I was spoiled at one point by the Herman Miller Aeron (most confortable desk chair I've _ever_ used), but even the basic model is $750 from a discounter, and $950 if you want the lumbar support and added adjustments. Now if anyone could find a (good!) Aeron knock-off for $200 or less, I'm there...

I found some locally a few times for 400 on craigslist before.....I too am spoiled by that chair.

FWIW I purchased 3 of these a year ago for one of our offices. They are actually pretty awesome and clients that sit in them always comment on how comfortable they are.

Best chair I've found for under $100.

I think I paid $50 a piece using a coupon.

Yeah my last boss had one and let me try it out...if my wife would let me spend a grand on a chair, I would do it in a heartbeat, but for some reason she wants me to save for a down payment on a house

How is the condition after a year? I noticed that a lot of people reviewed the durability as being poor.

I actually bought this about a year ago for $59 and it is still in excellent condition.

I bought one of those chairs just recently and am not all that happy. The bottom padding is thin, very thin. You get what you pay for, and I'm cheap, so there. However, I've had other cheap chairs with much better padding.

It's thin, but it's not uncomfortable. Like I mentioned earlier, it's not a chair designed for cushy comfort, it's more of a supportive chair. You can always add your own cushion if you need more padding.

I'm not disagreeing with you on that, I can add padding. I'm just expressing my experience with this chair. To be sure, much worse is sold for even more money. For $60, add some cushioning and it's a decent deal.

great chair, but it is a bitch to build. I suggest two people when you get to installing the arms on the chair.
