Fruit Brute, by General Mills. There was another relatively unknown one called Yummy Mummy. Up until now, the only ones I had heard of were Count Chocula, Boo Berry and Franken Berry.

Not that one, I remember Fruite Brute. I bitched about my miniwheats in the OP

All the Shakey's pizza resturaunts in Northern Indiana mysteriously vanished. Then went Noble Romans. Two of my favorite pizza places. It was a trip when I went on Spring Break to Jamaica, there was a Shakey's in Negril! WTF?!?!

I'm so jealous when I watch South Park and see Cartman carry on about going to Shakey's. I really loved that place...

Ecto Cooler /thread

This stuff was truely awesome... colored green, tasted orange. How can you get any better? Plus this was the time when slimer was king and the Ghostbuster rocked hard. I would love to have this childhood treat back

From Wiki
Ecto Cooler was product tie-in with the movie Ghostbusters. Hi-C struck a deal in 1984 to promote the movie by developing a drink. Expected to last only as long as the movie, the drink was successful beyond expectations and continued to be produced for the better part of two decades. The Ecto Cooler box featured the Ghostbusters character Slimer, as did the commercials. Slimer left the box sometime around 1997, but Minute Maid did not discontinue the product until 2001, at which point it was renamed Shoutin' Orange Tangergreen. Slimer was replaced on the packaging by a similar-looking blob of lips. Excepting the flavor, the only other unchanged aspect of the product is that it is still being noted as ecto cool on many store receipts.

In 2006, Shoutin' Orange Tangergreen was renamed Crazy Citrus Cooler.

Ecto Cooler is also the nickname of an alcoholic drink that is made by mixing a lemon-lime powder mix with vodka, sugar, water, and ice. [1]

Because of popular demand, mega retailers such as Walmart and Target have agreed to begin restocking this product as of March 2007.[citation needed]

I really want proof of that last claim... I f'n loved ecto cooler and if it comes back I may die.

QFT. First thing I thought about when I saw this thread was Ecto-cooler.

Ah, ok, the post above yours was about a monster-themed cereal with a werewolf on the box if I remember right, I thought you were commenting on that.

Yeah, sorry it seemed unclear

Kellogg's better have a damn good reason for canning this cereal, was thinking of sending them a link here with like 5 or 6 people saying it was their favorite cereal ever.

Does anyone remember those soft-serve ice cream cones that were dipped in some kind of chocolate that got crunchy really quickly? I haven't had one of those in years.

I am virtually certain there was another one....I have vivid memories of looking back and forth between the four haunted choices as my mother threatened to leave me in the store...

Anyone remember the tiny Burger King "Burger Buddies"? I think it was the mid to late 80's. McDonalds also had the same thing that came three to a box.

Nutty Wheat Thins
Snapple Elements, particularly Sun, Moon, and Gravity (the original Gravity, with carrot)

I was much pleased to, about a year after the old Elements were gone, to find a local butcher shop had some still there. Of course I got all the Moon he had left!
