I wish they would bring that back! They are too busy with their thickburgers now, I guess.

Hardees.
That reminds me, some years back they had a Spicy Chicken sandwich, perfect blend of spices and heat. I loved them!
And this from a guy who prefers vegetables over meat, and almost any meat over chicken!

Anyone remember the kit they sold to make your own gummy candy creature critters?

It was a kit that came with plastic mold trays and some kind of sweetened gelatin based liquid goop that you mixed food coloring into. Poured it into the molds, which were shaped like spiders, snakes, dragon flies, beetles, and other creatures. After a while, the liquid would set into a gummy candy. Pop them out of the mold and they were edible.

Tasted OK, not great. We had fun with those for a while until the novelty wore off, probably contained a Class A carcinogen or something.

edit: according to wikipedia it still exists but is hard to find

Are they still just marketing that as a Summer item?

It's still available here, in the deluxe vending machine down in the Pepsico lobby. -edit beaten by 40 or 80 people.

'Giggle Cookies' which were weird oreo like cookies with faces in them
I swear to God that said "feces" when I first looked at it. Then I tried to figure out the context but it didn't work. =\

Lol

I moved into this neighborhood and there was this kid named Sergio, everyone called him "Surge" after the soda. After he moved, I think they stopped making "Surge".

They used to have Kellogg's Mini-Wheats with different fruit centers in them.. the ones I remember were Strawberry, Blueberry, Apple-Cinnamon and Raisin. They weren't frosted unlike the stupid 'strawberry delight' crap out there now and they had smuckers filling... mm. Why did they pull these?

I don't know if this has been answered yet as I didn't read the entire thread.

The reason you're not finding the product is because your're not lookin for the correct product. You're looking at the competitor's line. Remember, Kraft foods makes a similar wheat cereal under the Post name brand. The product you seek is Post Spoon Size Shredded Wheat.

It was definitely Kelloggs.. I can't find a strawberry shredded wheat cereal from Post, can you?

Kelloggs made it with smuckers fruit centers, I emailed them and asked why they pulled it and they gave me some BS about how it wasn't selling and they weren't considering bringing it back

Post Shredded Wheat used to be produced under the Nabisco name. The cereal you may be thinking of was Nabisco Fruit Wheats.

I was certain that it was the Nabisco/Post/Kraft version, but couldn't remember the exact name. Kellogg's must've had a version, too, since they responded as they did, but I don't remember the name of that cereal at all.

Haha, here's the Giggles ad. Also, a Nabisco product. I remember these. My brothers and sister loved them. I couldn't stand them...yuck.
