newsgroups are becoming worthless. Everything is either taken down or passworded. I have not been pleased with things lately. If it wasn't so cheap I would cancel.

newsgroups are getting rough. Easynews makes it so that eventually everything will get through and archives can be completed using search. Standard newsgroup servers are tougher to piece together partial archives though. But even easynews is becoming a non source on 0 day movie releases. Occasionally a movie gets decoded and stored locally before the DMCA take downs can remove part of the archive, but most of the time it will take several days.

It looks like this is a reseller of Highwinds, one of The Big Three. Same servers as Easynews, Teranews, Usenetserver, Yottanews, and quite a few others.

Honestly if you want decent Usenet access these days you have to hit up multiple services. Having a subscription to one of The Big Three plus a backup is the way to go. Between the two, along with some of the free servers added in, you'll generally have good mostly DMCA-less coverage.

Bummer. I got a notice from Knology / Wow that they are dropping Newsgroup access as of June or July. Too bad, as they had really nice service.
