I'm pretty sure the low priced plan I mentioned above does not let you resell, but they do have a reselling plan. I never tried this plan, but it has 200GB of bandwidth, 20GB space, which is pretty amazing compared to other plans I've seen for $50 a month ($40 a month if you pay annually $480).

Anyway seeing that RossMan seems to be the man to ask to ask about webhosting, I need some advice. My friend is presently with e-insites, which was previously cyberworld. Anyways he's on the windows reseller package with 30GB/1GB/ASP/SQL. Their servers performance was always spotty but now has gotten worse, with mail not getting through, downtimes, runaround support, etc. Anyway he's looking for a host that offers around 20GB/1GB along with ASP and SQL for less that $40. Can you point me in the right direction RossMan? He also has a few other demands, namely that the control panel be newbie-friendly and that uptime be excellent. Thanks.

Unfortunately I only have personal experience with Linux web hosts, not Windows.

However there are several reputable web hosts who are established, have true 24/7 support and solid uptime for under $40/mo.

Go to WHT and click SEARCH, select the RESELLER forum and search for WINDOWS or ASP. That should point you in the right direction.

cw3host is my current host. I was hosted with them back in 2002 and decided to look for cheaper hosting in 2003 and after several bad experiences from WHT referrals/specials. I went back to CW3 with my tail tucked and was welcomed with the same discount i had before leaving.These guys are consistant and reliable but are a bit more than others in their catagory.

oh! and the only reason I consider leaving them is plain economics. I have a reseller plan and never resell anything and barely have time to work on the sites I have up which are all hobby, but just cannot bring myself to do without a good host for whenever i do need it

rob@bitstream is a nice guy. I jumped in too early and had to cancel a plan I had with him (back when that offer was dirt cheap). The only issue I had was for some reason, ftp logins took a loong time to get through.
