AX7 vs. Zalman 5000?

Opinions? Or preferably, link to a cooler shootout that includes these two coolers? I have both, and am wondering which to keep. I know Thermalright's SK6 was king of the hill a while back, slightly edging out the Zalman when fed approximately same airflow. So if the AX7 is an improvement over the SK6, my question is answered. I'd just like verification either through someone's experience or measurment. TIA.

The AX-7 is FAR superior to the Zalman. linky In fact is quite a bit better than the SK6.

Well, the SLK-600 is actually an "improved SK-6"...the AX-7 is a hybrid heatsink which performs a lot better than both the SLK-600 and SK-6.

I am very impressed with the SLK-600. I am running a YS Tech 24 CFM fan in combination with the SLK-600 on a XP1900 and I am am getting a consistant 36 Deg C under normal use.

The price is a little on the steep side but the cooler temps without all the noise makes this a cooler worth looking at.

BTW if you get one be careful when installing and use the small cushion dots provided.
