Ok, before you start overclocking, install all the hardware you intend to use (Network cards, sound cards, etc). There's no point in overclocking a barebone system and not be able to use all of your hardware. Do this at the default multiplier+FSB, which should be 10 x 133. Make sure you install Motherboard Monitor to watch your temps and voltages.

Once everything is installed, then turn off your computer, change the multiplier jumper to 10.5, and boot. Make sure it not only boots, but successfully loads the OS. Now turn off the computer and bump up the multiplier to 11.0. Rinse and repeat. Keep going up by 0.5 multiplier increments at a time until your system no longer boots. Now bump up your voltage to +0.1 V. Some people mess around with DDR Voltage too, but I left it alone on my 8k7a. After upping your voltage, you should be able to increase your multiplier some more. Keep going until you have found a voltage/temperature/MHz that you would like to run at. You may max out your chip, or you may find that it starts to overheat when you increase your voltage too much.

By now, you have an idea of about how high your processor can go. Now, start experimenting with your FSB. Lower your multiplier back down to 10, and boot. Enter BIOS setup, and change your FSB to 135. Make sure everything runs, then trying different mulipliers and FSBs. It is really up to you. You can try, for example, 10.5 x 135, 10 x 138, etc. Don't increase your FSB too much at one time. If you go slowly and something fails, you will know that you barely passed the threshold, and you will probably not have done any damage.

Good luck.
