B&M Only - Huge YMMV - CC Clearance Antec Aria Case $52.99

Went to CC today, saw the Antec Aria case on sale for $52.99. Apparently this case hs been on clearance for a while now, so HUGE YMMV. It is NOT on their website. There was 1 left on the shelf at my local CC.

I tried to PM at CUSA (because I have a $30 gift card) - got denied. "The $52.99 price is below our cost of $90. We can't do the PM."

I wouldn't reccommend putting the Pentium D in a case like an Aria, I think he'd be better off with one of the Sempron combos.

that might run too hot in this case? although if no video card installed ever...

anyway, biostar is bleh. bought mb/cpu combo m7vig400 from newegg and the usb works whenever it feels like it :|
rest of it seems okay, but then again i only use it for gaming and burning (hl2 & gta sa)

I was able to pick this up at the Circuit City in Tyson's Corner, VA. There was just one on the floor and the box looked like it had been sitting in some warehouse for a long time. Anyway when I opened it up it was brand new.

I had a motherboard of unknown company from an old HP with a 900mhz Pentium III and 384meg. I hooked it all up and it works fine. I have it going to my TV because I want to make a PVR out of this box. It looks really nice.

Make sure you get a motherboard that has at least 3 USB pin-sets onboard. There are 2 USB ports on the front ot the case and the memory card reader gets hooked up to a USB pin-set.

Any recommendations on MB/CPU/Hard drive/Video card for making a PVR?

Everyone who wants this case should try to find it. It looks really nice.

They are still out there. Picked one up today for 52.99 Newegg lists them for 95.00 I also bought one of these about a year ago for my son's system. Ventilation on that one is not real good and it runs a little warm. I would not buy this if you intend to overclock. Those are the downsides. Upside...it's a nice looking case. Nice small size. Quiet PS fan.

Store I picked mine up from did not list it in stock. I suppose you could call the store and have them check.

Got one for an MSI skt 754 build last week. I really don't have anymore mATX boards, but it's nice enought that i'm considering buying another if I find one. I just wish the power supply was a bit bigger.

I just picked one up yesterday at the San Rafael, CA CC store, one left.
This is a nice deal on a nice case. I have used this case before and it is very easy to work on for something so small. Ventilation is a problem, though.

I always check the CoolerGuys, SVC and Directron for HSF's.
