I have this case for about little over year, and I have power supplied failed on it. It took Antec about 1 month to replace under warranty.

Just few word of caution. It is extremely difficult to work or adding stuff in it since it is small. If you guys are used to work on large case, you will have your work cut out for you. Power Supply Fan is loud, and there is funky arrangment to add another fan if your stock fan on heatsync is too loud.

Build qualit is really really good. I love my case except it is bit loud for me.

what small case isn't hard to work on?
anyway, thanks to the op. can't believe it myself, but went back and the store still had it on the shelf @ $85~
took it to the register, planning a "not enough money" excuse and had the trick pocket even laid out in advance
but she said $52.99 + tax
much much thanks, because "But I do have a mATX board waiting-HOT DEAL!" also from cusa 2.4/msi matx (edit: p4mam2-v) for $79.99 deal

Thanks OP,

I went to the one in claremont mesa in san diego county, they didnt have any, however I picked up the only one downtown or wherever the I-5 & the I-8 meets.

There is one at national city in SD if anybody wants to pick it up.

It says in store as: $79 (Clearance)

But of course when they rang it up, it was $52. I doubt its gonna get any cheaper or in stock.

I returned mine to the CC in Overland Park, KS on 95th and Quivira.

II realized it was going to cost me more interms of finding parts for it.

Besides, I am waiting on the AMD TECH TOUR.

Be sure to check your cases, mine looked like it was used. I have some bent pins with the 8 in 1 media reader, and the faceplate for the CD drive was off the spring. Also there is some dust too.

Yes, I'd advise folks to consider the smallish PSU when building out these big rigs. This is a HTPC case first and foremost. There isn't much room for a massive HSF (I had to rig mine), the PSU isn't so beefy, and cooling leaves a bit to be desired (I still manage to run a 2500+ and two 7200rpm drives!).

GREAT for a home theater box, though. Fits right in with pretty much any setup.

I built a HTPC based on an Aria a couple summers ago. I run Snapstream Beyond TV 4. The writeup is kinda old nowadays, but you guys may get some info out of it (it includes unboxing pics, etc):

where is a shuttle case available for $52.99?

"I have some bent pins with the 8 in 1 media reader, and the faceplate for the CD drive was off the spring. Also there is some dust too."

mine also had glue (?) on on the bezel
but i think it was brand new and this is antec storing stuff in the warehouse incorrectly
because everything else was wrapped up so nice. the type of people (foul) that use and return stuff aren't so nice and neat about it
i bought an epson printer 825 at target once and decided to go up to customer service to check it out -- someone had stuffed an old hp 635 in it
they didn't even bother to add some ink cartridges

... there isn't one... but shuttles have great designs and are more compact. They get more features in a mobo than you can find on a fairly priced mATX solution.

Holy Blip! That is a hot deal! How does the combo OC? This might be a better deal than the Outpost Sempron 3100+ deal! It is certainly cheaper. But, I love the Sempron deal. I am using it to type this. Very nicely OCed.

Found one at a local CC but it was $57.99 and was a return or something. Box was all thrashed. Don't really need it but was thinking of building another HTPC for the spare room.

Picked up two at my local CC. $48.99 each is what it rang up here, even tho the shelf tag was $52.99 like you guys showed.

My 3000+ fit perfectly in it!
