Dudes, I need some advice on how to deal with gorilla strength B.O.

And the problem is I have sensitivity to the mainstream stuff (I guess its the aluminum in it, I don't know). When I used to use it regularly the skin under my arms became pale and hypersensitive it was really odd.

I tried some of the hippy stuff out there from the natural food stores and while my skin soon recovered it just doesnt work well as a deoderant. It masks the odor for only a short time.

Is there anything out there that is good without the commercial grade ingredients?

if you are talking aluminum, you are likely talking antiperspirants. I personally only use deodorant. I am sensitive to most brands and basically only use speedstick. I definitely know speedstick has no aluminum in it..

edit:
I would skip the antiperspirants in favor of deodorants or maybe go see a dermatologist

I'd second the advice for a trip to the dermatologist. They might be able to get you something that's powerful enough but that won't react with your skin. Or who knows, maybe it's indicative of some other problem.

In the mean time, like Zivic said, aim for deodorants as opposed to antiperspirants (the latter of which contain the aluminum). Even if they don't keep the sweating in check, they usually still work on odor.

Yeah I really dont know if it's the aluminum or something else. I guess a dermatologist can help figure that out but I'm one of those guys that hates going to doctors for anything, so unless my armpit started developing bloody black boils a la black plague I probably wont go.

Interesting idea about rubbing alcohol, I think I will try that lol

Dermatologist will make you feel better, mentally if nothing else. He will have actual answers and be able to give you something to take care of it. Its worth your time.

Try some gold bond medicated body powder - not the cream - the powder. That stuff will knock the stank off anything. I cant tell you how long it may hold up though.

If you notice your own BO, chances are high everyone around you does as well. Do those around you a favor and see a doc about it. FYI Botox injections can stop underarm sweating for months. There's rx aluminum solutions like Drysol but I wouldn't expose myself to all that aluminum if I were you.

I wouldn't apply alcohol to my skin on daily basis, seems like a recipe for irritation and skin damage.

Not daily nor the shaving even weekly. Just keeping the bacteria form hanging out in the hairs and reducing the amount of hair.
