If it were a one time offense, I would try and resolve it with the owner of the animal.

I'm just saying if after warning, the owner still allows the animal to roam free and destroy my property then it will be taken care of. It would be the owners fault for not restraining him after the initial warning. I'm an animal lover for the most part and was brought up having pet dogs, cats, fish, you name it..I never let any of them roam free. The cats got out occasionally, but normally when they did I knew were to find them, in the road.

******************

I would only kill a wild animal on the first offense, as they have no owner to think of or to restrain them from doing it again.

Red Dawn,
Sorry for the unoriginality in my comeback, but you are the one that mentioned crapping in ones pants. I merely pointed out to the board your inability or laziness to use the restroom. It seems that it has gotten hard to be original in comebacks against you as you have pretty much been called everything known to man.

I will try and do better in the future, sensei.

<< You cat people amaze me. I love animals and I have 3 dogs and a rabbit. My rabbit has it's own little house in my house. My 3 dogs are either in the house or in MY back yard. I do not let my animals run free to be a nuisance to anyone else in the neighborhood. Now I realize that cat people feel it is their cat's divine right to roam wherever it chooses. Guess what, it is actully against the law for your cat to be loose, just as it is for my dogs to run.

I myself do not like cats, especially walking on my cars. They scratch the paint and leave nasty paw prints that I have to wash off every morning. Now if I let my dogs roam they get picked up byt animal control. If you call animal control because a cat is on your car they won't do anything because they say cats are too hard to catch. Now, if the authorities won't take care of the situation and the owner of the cat is too irresponsible to keep their cats at THEIR house.........Guess what??..........I KILL the damn cat myself.

Now I'm sorry for the loss of your cat. I don't usually like to see animals harmed. But if a cat owner feels that the rights of his cat to raom free are greater than my right to keep my restored cars' paint in good shape then BYE BYE KITTY!

What the hell is up around here lately with these attitudes towards animals ? :Q

Actualy I don't have an attitude towards animals. I really love animals, so much so that when I took a poor injured 1 week old squirrel out of the cold when its mother had been killed (by my neighbor at the lake) it ended up living in my house (she had an awesome cage) for 3 years until her unfortunate passing. The attitude seems to come from the goddamn cat people who think I need to build another garage or put a tarp over my cars under my carport because they are too lazy or irresponsible to keep track of their stupid animals. I have always given fair warning to my neighbors before their cats disappear so I feel that the fault lies with them.

My cats are totally indoor animals and I am certainly not condoning irresponsible pet owners, that said, I'd tarp my car and try to deal legally with the inconsiderate neighbors, I would never consider killing an animal for behaving like an animal :Q

I purposely don't have any pets. I don't have the time or energy to care for them. One of those tasks is cleaning up their cr@p. But everytime I mow my front yard or weed the flower beds in the back, I have to pick up some dog or cats cr@p. Now, I don't have animals so I don't have to clean up cr@p but I am forced to do it by my 3 tooth neighbors. It's not the animals fault but the stupid people who get animals and have no idea that responsibilties come with them. I would have no heartburn if their animal were to suddenly disappear. And if I catch the dog that is cr@pping in my front yard, I will rub the owners nose in it.

Tarps scratch the paint. Why should I have to go out of my way to make sure that someones stupid cat doesn't destroy stuff ON MY PROPERTY!!!! Are most of the people here this fscking clueless?? Since animals are rather stupid an thus act like animals that means it is the owners responsibility to TAKE CARE of their damn animals....that means keeping them on their own property.

<< Ronstang I hope none of your family members wonder into your neighbors' yard after they warn you not to come on thier property. >>

This analogy really doesn't even deserve a reply....are you really this stupid??

Is there no one left in this world that takes personal responsibility serious anymore?

Do you even know how to read? I have stated several times that I love animals and I do not like killing or harming them but I will not let them destroy my property. These animals are the owners responsibility and if they won't take care of their animals in a loving and nurturing way then I am FORCED to protect the things that I work hard for and are important to me. I guess there is a reason you are a lifer here but I won't get into that............

You are a bigger idiot than I thought. Do you even possess the ability to exercise rational cognitive thought? What does your statement have to do with the topic at hand? It is usually the idiots with the stupid emotinal comebacks that have the indefensible position in the argument and thus resort to not addressing the actual point......Once again for the intellect impaired....Why should I have to suffer damage to my property or go out of my way to prevent the damage of my property as a result of a cat that is habitually left to roam free by an irresponsible owner???

yes i can read... regardless of how much you like animals, it's pretty clear to me that you're more eager to kill them then those who wouldn't. think about it. go ahead and get into why you think i'm a lifer. it'd be interesting to hear.

I made those statments to show the ignorance in your logic. Just because something you believe is more important than life, paint in this case, is being 'damaged' doesn't give you the right to commit crimes such as animal murder.

So, let me get this right, Ronstang.

You love animals, but if an animal acts like an animal and forgets to read your no trespassing signs and neglets to ask its owners where and where it can't go, it deserves to die? Hmm, something doesn't fit up. You love animals, but if their owner makes a boo boo, you'll kill the animal. Or make it "disappear" as ya say. Congrats on saving the squirrel by the way, but we all know ya only took it in so it wouldn't be outside your house scratching and egging and spray painting your precious babies. Yeah. You love animals, and should join the SPCA as soon as possible.

Of course, I dunno what I'm talking about cause I drive a POS modern car with a POS factory paint job and I have not yet learned to be anal retentive about the finer things in life.

At our house we call it cat art.. I think the paw prints are kinda cute.

You have to protect your paint MistaTastyCakes, it is one of the most important things in life. Without paint where would we be? Without color on our houses and cars. Many people would go insane and start murderous rampages just from the absence of paint. I am suprised you don't know this by now.
