Baby Shower - Any ideas/suggestions?

This is the first time I am throwing a baby shower for a friend - any ideas/suggestion please!!!!

The couple is registered @ babiesrus which takes care of the gift part.
I don't want invited people/guests to get bored so I am looking for suggestions/ideas how to make it a interesting evening

i might be wrong.. but seeing as how 90% of the people here are probably guys who are under 25- i'm not sure we can help much. but i'll try.. what kind of suggestions are you looking for? like gifts and stuff?
