baby wipes are polluting and pricey
What I don't get about bidets is....it seems to me that to get completely clean with just water, you'd need substantial pressure. The only bidet I've ever seen didn't seem strong enough to "scrub" you clean, which then just makes me imagine trying to clean up a soupy wet mess with crumbly TP.
you can use some TP first and wash only the smelly invisble stuff afterwards. Or you use your hand to scrub. That's why muslims never eat with the left hand, their religion formalizes this practice.
It's not yucky, if you use TP your hand will still smell like shit unless you use 1 roll each time. This way it won't.
People in North America use about 50 pounds (22.7 kg) of toilet paper per person per year
Western Europe uses the next most toilet paper per person, at about 30 pounds (13.6 kg), followed by Latin America, which uses about 9 pounds (4.1 kg) per person per year. People in Asia and Africa use the least per year, with Asians using a little less than 4 pounds (1.8 kg), and those in Africa using about 0.88 pounds (about 0.4 kg) per person per year.
Americans spend more than $5.7 billion US Dollars on toilet paper each year.
more money and consumption possible? Spend more money in barbarian methods of hygiene inherited directly from medieval germanic europe!
with a bidet you can recoup your investment and enjoy having a non-itchy and smell-free anus. The cleaning is also WAY faster.
Don't have the money or space for a bidet? Here's the asian alternative: the bum gun
a bit more difficult to use, but reaches the same objective.
Just make sure you have a backsplash and a water-resistant tiled floor because if you don't pay attention you're gonna spray water.
Brits with silly carpeted bathrooms need not apply.
