I was lucky enough to snag an Antec True Power 430 watt brand new from goodwill for $6.

Am i lucky or what? Even though it doesn't have a 6-pin pci-exp adapter and only two sata power adapters, but it'll be great on my next budget build.

Picked one up Nov 26th $5 shipped, and a FSP Blue Storm II 400W, when FSP Group had a free shipping promo which combined with a $$ off code.

Pretty multicolored fan with knob to control speed. Just installed it a month ago for an older system (Athlon 64 Clawhammer, Radeon 850XT). Set midway it is very quiet and ramps up a bit when gaming.

At $19 I'd go for the OCZ 500W at $25 after $25 rebate (newegg, likely a Seasonic, active PFC).

It's not that bad for a basic system.
For me it's gonna run:

a64 2800,
1x 512mb, 1x256mb pc3200,
1x ide hard drive,
1x ide dvd burner,
1x 120mm fan,
1x fx5600xt agp video card

definitely enough to run that.

8800gt requires 26A
