Ok so I recently installed an academic version of Macromedia Studio MX. And I think it added jrun.exe to my background apps, which I think is for Coldfusion or whatnot. But I don't plan on learning any coldfusion anytime soon and would like to get it out of my background operations since it is taking up about 24MB of RAM (it's something). How can I do that?
And as an appendix to that, a lot of times applications will set something running in the background when you install it. But lets say you don't want that. How do you remove an individual application from getting its grimy hands on your RAM. Like Ghost or Quickbooks or whatever...without crashing your system. Is there somewhere you can just uncheck background processes?
