Backhanded compliments to the domestics - Cadillac CTS Coupe vs Infiniti G37 Coupe

Eh, I like the CTS's overall styling much better, but i agree the rear needs some help.

The G37 looks like a warmed over Camry solara from behind. Thats a big Meh from me.

The next generation G has the corners of the headlamps go all the way to the windshield wipers.

They enlarged the lights, the grille is more straight forward, the bumper is more angular and aggressive, and reworked lower area with the lower air dams look incredible.

I have to say, yum.

However sedan vs. sedan, I like the CTS better.

I like the CTS. The sharp, straight lines and flat panels almost make it look stealth-like... especially in black.

The G37 is a seriously ugly car. Looks like they took a generic Korean car and slapped a body kit on it. The CTS Coupe isn't exactly the prettiest car on the planet, but at least it has a unique design that isn't going to be mistaken for a dozen other cars out there.

Transformers vs. Speed Racer lol. The G needs personality badly and GM seriously needs to drop their attempts at muscular, aggressive, tough guy styling. Most of their cars look like some kind of robo-roid disaster these days. GM and Nissan are currently two of the worst companies when it comes to styling in my opinion.

It's not that they don't look good...it's just that CTS (especially sedan) looks so much better.

Yay Cadillac. And that Infiniti looks like crap anyway. I'll take a "V" version please.

i'd take the G over the cts any day, save for the V. GM still needs alot of work, quit fooling yourselves. the g is just beautiful, and so is the new infiniti M series. The V powertrain is definitely nice, but i don't care for the look of the CTS and at that point you're not really comparing it w/ the G anymore.
