I have a QNAP Nas running a Raid 1 setup and I'm starting to put more and more onto my NAS. While it is redundant, I'd also like to do a local backup to my computer. Anyone know of a way to backup a network or mapped drive in Windows?
I use Macrium Reflect and Acronis for drive backups, but those will only let you backup TO the NAS, but will not let you back up the actual NAS drive to the local machine.
Anyone have a solution?
I think I may be able to put an external drive directly onto the nas and do a backup that way, but I haven't explored that yet.
