I have an older sony notebook that has a sata hd and os is xp pro. I do not have the restore discs but want to make a backup and thought using a comparable hd would be good. I use acronis on my main pc to backup and find its great to transfer the whole hd and not nave to go thru doing the restore and buying the sony discs.
What would be the simple way to do a backup that is sure to work. Can I get a comparable hd, a sata enclosure and backup to that or is there an easier way? thank you
