Bad day / Good day

Last week I washed my only garage door opener remote in my jeans. I took it apart and let it dry, but it didn't seem to work. So I went to Menards and bought two new remotes ($50)

A bad day.

Today I decided to put it back together and stick a new battery in it just to try it one more time before throwing it away... and it works now!

A good day.

Just thought I'd share.

Sunday, a short in an electrical line caused my well pump to fizzle out. Cost $4000 to replace the pump and redo all of the wiring.

Bad Day

Today, I found out my pool builders are finally hooking up the electric for the pool equipment and filling the pool with water. 5 months of work finally done!

Well, not really. Seeing as that was my only remote, I now have one for each car and the bike. No more having to make sure the remote is in the vehicle I'm using.
