I grew my hair for over 3 years a few years back. I kind of miss it, but not all of the hassle that comes with it.

Yeah, it's definitely a PITA. I never had long hair before, so I didn't realize how much of a PITA...

Still, if you ask the average student at my school if they've seen "Boomer," not many would have any idea who you are talking about, but if you say "the old fat guy with the long gray ponytail," they know exactly who it is...


Back on topic...OP, throw a hat on...the difference between a good haircut and a bad one is about a week...(unless it's REALLY bad.) Let it grow for a week or 2, get it re-cut.

There is truth to this. I stand out in a crowd as well. I'm the guy with the long blond hair. Professors and students always seem to recognize me. And I have a weird last name so they remember that too.

$20 every 4 weeks = $260 a year. I bought a nice set of clippers and cut my own hair every 2 weeks or so.

My last set of clippers cost about $40 and lasted 9 years. This is an excellent one Oster Classic 76

Do you know the difference between a good hair cut and a bad one? About 2 weeks.

That would be called "early supper" where I come from.

I was raised that:

Breakfast is 4am-6am.

Brunch is 9am-1pm.

Early supper is 3pm-5pm.

Supper is 6pm-midnight.

shit happens buddy. i think we've all had bad haircut experiences (i've definitely buzzed off my hair after a haircut when the stupid barber did a shitty job).

the thing that irks me is that i still tip slightly even after a bad haircut. sometimes i wish i had bigger balls to just voice my anger/frustrations
