I started a thread about a month or so ago saying that I was getting Pin List Corrupt errors. Someone told me it was a driver so I updated all the drivers I could find. Then the error became a Bad Pool Header. I just accepted the restarts and moved on, even though Windows kept telling me it was a "serious error." Anyway, this week I get another Bad Pool Header and the computer restarts but can't load Windows anymore. I am sure that the installation is just corrupt now. I don't want to lose all of the files on my computer so I guess I will need to buy a new hard drive. Or maybe I can repair the windows installation, I didn't even just think of that until now.... Anyway, anyone have any ideas what this Bad Pool Header is? I checked google and get back much info on how to fix it. I did however find a person on another forum with the exact same error and similar setup (mb/processor/graphics). I sent an email to MSI's technical support but I haven't heard anything back yet. My setup:
MB: MSI Neo Platinum (7030)
Proc: 3000+ Athlon 64
Ram: 512 MB Kingmax
Drive: 60 GB Maxtor, and 8x NEC DVD-R
