OK, I actually swapped this one out of my wife's computer a little over a week ago because it had the extra 4-pin connector (when I bought a new motherboard/cpu), so I don't know much about it's long-term behavior..
it's a real POS "Deer" supply..
the darn thing kept rebooting @ startup on me a few times, then this morning I went to bed and left it on, came back down to find it was off and refused to turn on, even the cdrom wouldn't respond to the eject (it would even do that with the dead MB), even the Diagnostic LED's that come with the (MSI K7N2 Delta) motherboard wouldn't light up.. but the LAN connector DID!
I played with resetting the cmos and general pin connections for a while.. had it fire up and shut back down in cmos once.. but for now it's powered up and running again..
I have it in CMOS and the dispplayed voltages are as follows:
Vcore: 1.56v~1.60v (not too low for an XP2000+?, too much fluctuation?)
+3.3v: 3.23v~3.28v
+5v : 5.02 steady
+12v: 11.92v steady
-12v: 11.70v steady
-5v: -5.09 steady
battery: 2.94~2.96v
5VSB: 4.92v steady
Verdict??
