I already send mail to Corsair asking about any from at least CX series.
I have to wait for reply until end of this weekend.
If still ppl think I'm unreasonable little kid then may be I am...

Did you send an email? or you have an open ticket? if you have an open ticket, post it here or send me a PM and I'll check it out myself and see if there's something I can do. I'll see to it that we get this matter resolved for you.

Edit: Looks like you've sent an email. I'd recommend creating a ticket at Corsair.force.com and explain the situation in the description box. Once a ticket # is generated, send it over to me or post it here.

Post your ticket #, I will have to look into it myself in order for me to make an appropriate request or changes. I'll work with customer service and I will explain your situation.

Alright, Thanks. Let me look into it. Let's say I am able to convince customer service in US to work on your ticket, what PSU would you consider reasonable as a replacement for your VX450?

No guarantee that they will grant your request, but I'll do whatever I can to make sure that we provide you appropriate support.

My VX450 had 5 years of warranty and it was 450 Watt.
The only lowest tier series PSU which have 5 years warranty is RM450 but it's market price way higher than my VX450(Rs.6000/) and it's modular too.
But,my VX450 was not modular.
So,it will not justify I guess.
Now come CX600 V2 which got 3 years of warranty but little more Wattage than my VX450 and also market price is similar to mine(I bought VX450W at end of 2010 at just near Rs.4000/-).
TX series series is obsolete too.
So,I will be happy with CX600 V2 as a replacement of my old VX450 if Corsair consider reasonable enough.
Hope Corsair will grant my request.
If any other info required pls feel free to ask me.
Thanks!

Seems to me that the CS450M would be a good (and fair) replacement for what you had:
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/cs-series-modular-cs450m-450-watt-80-plus-gold-certified-psu
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139058

But let me just say this Revolution: much of the time, a warranty will cover one free replacement if the item should stop operating within the warranty period, and is usually replaced by an item carrying a 30-day warranty. Since they don't have that model any longer, they are covering something they feel is close to it (and possibly something they have available in your country).
Since they have fulfilled the replacement of the product under warranty, they would be under no further obligation for that item (save the 30 days you get on the replacement). I am not saying this is how Corsair will handle your RMA, just that this is how most companies in the US handle things.

No this is not happen in India AFAIK.
Suppose 5 years total warranty.
RMA item 4 tears old.
RMA process took 2 moths time.
Then NEW replacement PSU will have {5 years -(4 years+2 months)}=10 moths warranty left.
2 moths will be waste but u can't do anything.
If I'm wrong pls rectify...

CX600 V2 or RM or TX or CM450M ?
I can't tell anything specific now.
The final decision will be made by Corsair according to the above statement...

Glad I seen this post. I'm in the market for a new PSU after my old PC Power & Cooling 610w does not have enough juice for my new 290x setup (Still works great though !)

I was considering Corsair, as I never had an issue with their RAM modules ... but I'll skip right over them now in my PSU hunt

Maybe I plan on going there, but Corsair warranty service is Corsair warranty regardless of the location.

I think that it's not, hence the problem in this thread.

Edit: Not that I'm endorsing OP's position on this issue; I'm not.

First off: Kaizen Kolkata is not Corsair. Your emails are not going to Corsair support.

Secondly: You can't give someone support via social media. That's a horrible idea.

Thirdly: There IS a Corsair forum that is supported by Corsair U.S. employees. God knows that better than trying to get some guy on Facebook that's paid to say "Neat RGB keyboard in use playing Starcraft!" to support you.

Finally: A VS is far from a fair exchange for a VX. I wouldn't settle for anything less than a CS.

Feel free to PM me if this hasn't been resolved as I can ask someone at Corsair to assist with getting you the proper replacement or I suggest taking it up with someone at the Corsair forums.

No new mail from Corsair India.
No one from Corsair India Contacted me yet...

We have just sent you a message in your ticket regarding your replacement.

I think the solution that we have provided you is more than enough to compensate the troubles you've had during this RMA process. If you have any questions about it, you're welcome to send me or JG a PM.

I was going to say, I think Corsair Joseph helped me with a 250D I bjorked. They did not offer the part I needed to purchase so they replaced it free of charge with super fast shipping. So far, I have been very impressed.

Kaizen India is totally unprofesional.
I went to get my VS450.
And then I asked them for the paper(the proof that I took the VS450 as replacement of my VX450).
To claim the warranty for VS450 the proof/paper must required.
But,the Kaizen person said that he lost it.
What ?
Then I ask his to get the print from system then got reply that this can't be done cos I did not took my VS450 almost two weeks ago.
Then after repeatedly requesting and telling its important the Kaizen person brows the PC and made a new paper for me.
Finally I took the VS450 and the paper with me.

go back and update the thread title

sounds to me like you are being unreasonable......how old are you ??

Don't worry I will update when I get the compensate.
I'm not a unreasonable kid may be u.
Keep paitience like mature man as I'm keeping patience till now.
And I will show the compensate too...
