I ask two times about update at Corsair Customer Portal but did not get reply.

I wouldn't be so quick to pin the problem on Corsair support in general. I think the problem is that the OP is located in India where customer service standards may be different than what we are used to here.

For the record, I currently use a Seasonic PSU in my rig, and when I emailed Seasonic with a question I never got a response back. Corsair and PC Power & Cooling support were both better at communication. Corsair upgraded me to a TX650 a few years ago after the failure of a VX450, and PC Power & Cooling sent me an entire set of modular cables free of charge when I called to ask for a single replacement cable.

Revolution, what is the compensation that you will be receiving?

No problem at all. I've taken over your ticket, so there is no need to worry. I'll be checking that ticket on a daily basis and give you update as they come along.

A RM450 PSU.
But,that may be without any warranty cos it will not from local Corsair.
Though I'm not sure.
Still I'm very happy cos at least Corsair US( specially Mr Corsair Joseph) helping me to get that compensation.
Unlike Kaizen and Corsair India did not care about anything...

So why have you not changed the title of this thread.....it took Corsair in the USA to make you happy......perhaps you should change your thread title to "Bad RMA Service from Corsair in India of VX450W PSU ."

I believe that it is highly unethical to leave out any update and to not mention that you are in India in your thread title....

But,still seems like there r some impatience unreasonable kid who want everything now.

I will change the TITLE after every thing solved.

Just received a big parcel box.
Guess what's in the box ?
A RM450 ?
No,wrong.
It's a RM550.





I did not even open the sealed pack of RM550 and just started writing this now.
It's been almost 3 months since my VX450 died...

Worth noting that I RMAed a cpu cooler to Corsair and received a brand new, sealed in box replacement. The OP did as well. Every other company gives out refurb replacements. I think this fact alone means I'm going to buy Corsair for as much as I can going forward.

I'm still using a HX750 power supply that I bought back in early 2010. After five years of use the power supply is still working. The HX750 has a seven year warranty so I'm still covered for another two years yet.
