Lately, everytime I start up my Win98 system, I get an error that says something like "You may have bad sectors on disK" and it kicks off a scandisk, including surface scan. I've let this run to completion, and no errors were found, but it still does it everytime I boot up. As it stands now, I just hit "X" to exit and the bootup continues normally.
The only change I've made recently was installing Norton Internet Security suite, that has AV, etc ... The problem didn't begin right after I installed it, but did begin soon after.
Anybody seen this or have any suggestions?
