Bad to eat steak everyday?

Probably isn't the best place to ask this question but maybe someone might know.

I started this diet and I need to eat a protein and a carb 6 times a day. I recently bought some top round steak and ate that for dinner yesterday and today and it is delicious, i could eat it every day if it was ok.

Is there anything bad about having steak every day? It would be the only red meat I eat daily.

Steak is yummy but there are better meat sources of protein.

Probably not a good idea, but I'm sure you'll get sick of it before it becomes a problem.

How much, and what's it fat content. Really, all Americans get way more meat than they need. I can't really see much wrong with a lean 6oz cut a day...not that I know anything. Def better than a hamburger.

Yes it can be. "Moderation" is eating a sensible portion once per day. Not eating a porterhouse for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Sounds like your on Atkins, South beach, or the Suzanne Summers diet.

I would suggest you eat a rangeof veggies and take a once a day vitamin as a supplement. Low Carb protein bars are also great.

Amazing how few people posting here no anything about nutrition. Eating steak every day is a bad idea for the simple reason that the human body can only process so much uric acid every day before it builds to levels in their bloodstream that cause problems including gout and arteriosclerosis.

..I prefer steamed turkey breast myself. But go ahead and enjoy that steak. Put a little Tobasco in yer steak sauce for something diffrent.
