Badly beaten case.

Well, I received another hurt case from Newegg. This one was in pretty bad shape. The first one I got only had a problem with the power button, so I kept it. This one was obviously dropped. One of the corners of the metal part of it is bent in, the plastic face is broken off (all the plastic thing that connect the face to the case are broken off.

Newegg is nice about it and so is fedex. Fedex is paying for the case, and I pay nothing I think I should have returned my other case, but I had no time. I will probably be able to keep the broken case and use it for something else (hmmm, I have some spare parts laying around, hehe. It has a 350 Raidmax PSU in it and I can take out the wiring from the face plate or something ).

Of all the hardware I have had shipped in, I have never had anything damaged. OH NO. I just jinxed myself.... I have parts on the way from Directron.. maybe this shipment will be damaged...

At least you don't have to pay for it. It sucks to have to wait though.

I've only had one shipment ever arrive damaged. All the cases and PC parts I've bought have arrived in perfect condition, but I haven't bought that much stuff. The one shipment of stuff that was damaged was a shipment of paper. I bought it from BestBuy. The paper package opened up and the paper got bent up.

I was not able to call newegg until today (missed tham by 2 minutes on friday 8:32EST). I was giving the information, and the person I was talking to said, "It's the case that's broken?". I said, "Yeah, you have a note from when I called before?". She said, "No, but we have a lot of damaged cases reported."

Figured that if it happened that often. they would take care of it with fedex. Maybe fedex likes paying for cases

Out of stock, got a refund, now I have to rush to get another cases real fast.

The only thing I ever received damaged was a case from Directron. I wasn't Directron's fault (Post Office dropped it or something) and Directron sent me the replacement parts as soon as I told them about the shipment.

Stuff shipped to/from/through Texas is bound to have problems. Don't ask my why, but it's almost always the case. I had one come from Directron that looked like it went through so much abuse that I was expecting major damage. So I filmed the unpacking incase there was. Lucky for me it was just a few bent brackets that were able to be bent back.

i've had problems with them before with broken cases arriving, but they are super nice, it was always just the front face place that was broken and then overnighted a new face plate to me at no charge!!

Newegg? Yeah, they are great (always buy like 75% of my stuff through them). However, that is 2 out of 2 cases that I have gotten from newegg that were not in perfect condition (I think cases are just hard to ship unless u get packaging like ColorCases does.)
