Badminton rocks! Let's talk about Badminton!

I've been playing badminton at my friend's house for over a month now and it's so sweet. I think this sport is seriously underrated. From June-July, I was playing basketball every day, but since the advent of badminton into my life, things have just turned around.

I'm getting really good at it. Anyone else enjoy this as much as I do? Are there pro-badminton players?

I think I can own you on that even I suck at it among my friends. we can play that every saturday in my old hs gymnasium. I love that sport, but you can only play indoor. now, I am playing tennis.

most people can't even serve!

I loved playing badmitton in H.S. Sometimes we could choose between playing basketball or volleyball/badmitton...none of the girls played basketball, so I stuck with them.

Badminton is a great game...It ranks right up there with ping pong. If anyone lives in the NW ohio area I'm down for a game of badminton =)

my gf used to play varsity back in hs and played some prof league w/ her coach. we sometimes go back to the gym and play and man she kicks major arse and she hasn't really played in 5 years. i'm a pretty medium build guy and she clears the damn birdy farther then me w/ a flick of the wrist. this is one of the most under rated sport. if you suck you'd be running rounds all day.

It's a pretty fun sport, but personally I prefer biking (bicycling).

Just finished a 33-mile tour this past sunday, it rocked .

I play badminton.. I am quite good though I dont play it that often because certain friends consider it a "gay" sport..

needless to say I want to play badminton.

Anybody in the LA area want tplay it for the next month or so.. I want to get my game on.

There is a place near LA that is open 24hours a day and devoted just to badminton.

I used to play it on semi pro basis during my high school days under a former Malaysian player as a coach. The game is easy if you only play it for fun but it's crazy at the competitive level. Stopped playing for a while now cause I can't find any place with a good courts in Michigan.

Whoever that say this sport is ghay, I'll cream you.

it's hard to find places to play, there's no 24 hour place in the bay area is there? If there were I'd love to know about it.

All of my equipment (my Bulutangkis and shuttlecocks) are Franklin. What are the higher quality brand names for badminton supplies?

I hope it doesn't rain... i have the net set up in my backyard waiting for friends to come over

I was surprised. I thought you are asian too. I see mostly Asian playing badminton and ping pong. I played in HS and College. Go place to meet fine asian girls on a Friday night.
