Bags of Shredded Dark Hardwood Mulch @ HD -$1.28 ea

Stopped by local Home Depot to pickup some Mulch and they had this sale going. Limit 20 bags. 2 employees helped load my minivan. Usually costs $3+

Just found HD flyer. It's 2 cu. ft. per bag, was $2.50. Still not too bad a deal. Guess I will know more about quality when I start spreading it tomorrow.

Down here it doesn't last very long no matter what you use, so you might as well use cheap. (Well, fairly cheap - I try to avoid the stuff made from ground up pallets...)

picked up 30 bags last week, prior to the weekend, as I knew it would be gone by Saturday/Sunday in our area. It's fairly decent mulch, nothing to write home about. For the most part it's all shredded with the occasional twig here and there. On top of re-sodding my back yard this weekend, it provided for a few extra hours of landscaping time.
