Bah! I can't stand this guy!

Mike Tirico is the worst play by play announcer in Monday Night Football history. Horrid at calling play by play, continues to make mistakes in names and his voice is uneventful. They should fire this guy and get someone who is at least half decent. To me he doesn't fit as an announcer, he should be relegated to sideline reporting.

People are way too hard on announcers. If you need to listen to them to know what's going on then you don't know much about football. If you're listening on the radio, that's different. Just kinda tune them out if you can. Though I do like Kornheiser and Tirico alright.

Yep, I much prefer the duo of Michaels and Madden on SNF to the three clowns they have on MNF. Although I will say that Bryant Gumbel is probably the worst sportscaster I've ever had the displeasure of listening to.

omg. chip carey is the best play by play in baseball. the carey-stoney tandem was the best ever. those guys rocked the house and got fired for telling the truth. stoney even called out his dentist over the air...during a period of a month or so.

that's classic.

I still hold out hope for the Pat Summerall/John Madden duo to make a comeback

Anyhow, Tirico isn't too bad. If anything, getting Jaws in there in place of Theismann has made listening to the MNF crew bearable. I usually have the radio team of Alberts and Esiason on while watching the game.

There is one guy who constantly argues back to the other announcer. Things like TO is doing great tonight. Then the other idiot announcer goes well, he is normally lack luster in most games.

That's just an example. But whoever it was constantly put down whoever the other guy was trying to praise.
