There's other rulings, but even a California Appellate Court ruled against it.

i don't think it would work for the same reason that putting ridiculous requirements on centers providing abortions got shot down - you're effectively enacting a ban (denying a right). It isn't a literal ban, but for all practical purposes it would be.

My neighbor and I always reload our own ammo, it's another thing we can do to hang out for an afternoon and chat while we work. Very relaxing.
Of course making ammo illegal will change absolutely nothing for those that want to buy ammo.

How come you have to renew your drivers license by taking a test, but not your gun license?

How come you have to get your vehicle inspected, but not your guns?

How come you have to turn in your plates if you no longer own your vehicle, but not your gun?

Seems reasonable (to me) that you and your guns should be subject to review.

Some states don't do that. Some states issue a drivers license for 20 years.

And how do you suggest this happens? This is a govt that can barely tie its own shoes without 7 layers of politicized bureaucracy fucking it up. The Parkland shooter had no less than 2 govt agencies warned about the shooter and nothing was done about it. Some of you live in fantasy land.

Add in a constitutional right to drive and that goes away. I find it fascinating how cars are used as an analogy on both sides of the issue when it doesnt apply.
