any band that been around for over 10 years obviously makes music people like or they wouldn't be around anymore. even shitty bands like nickelback. people out there like it so they keep getting paid to make more records.

id bet 80% of the music on my computer is of bands who have been around more that 10 years and people still like their music

i was talking about bands that have been around 10+ years that aren't simply playing the music they made 10+ years ago. hence, no it isn't a stupid comment.

Kind of makes me wonder "what if" though in terms of if they had stayed together. To me, Dear Agony was easily their greatest album to date, I was really looking forward to future work.

D: It was one of the worst albums I've ever listened to, taking the worst parts of their earlier stuff, then adding the modern gratuitous autotune and compressed shit sound.

None of their stuff was all that good, they were like the Eeyore of rock bands, always mopey. At least the first album rocked some and they even almost tried to a few times on the 2nd and 3rd albums IIRC. With the first one it was still mopey but tonally it didn't sound like the cat having its balls smashed sound they went for full time on the last one.

I just saw a story of him last week, I think he was on stage in South Korea. He started rambling about Obama setting the theatre shooting etc. Someone through a shoe at him.. when they started playing he was only rhythm. I always liked him but I didn't know he was a teabagger.
