There are very few bands that I would prefer with the vocals rather than without. In fact, recently, I've been moving towards music without singing in it altogether, it's much better.

That's a good one, along with Rage Against the Machine. Those are two I can agree with, though I guess I've gotten used to them.

I wouldn't listen to GnR if it wasn't Axl, his voice is amazing.
And Rush wouldn't be unique without geddy. Sure they're amazing musicians, but they would sound too similar to other bands without his influence.
