Is there any libre personal banking/finance software that supports transaction downloading? It doesn't necessarily need to be *nix.
I used Gnucash from '06 to '08 until Intuit broke things on the server side, making their crappy software the only option with that works with my bank. I learned that the maintainer of the libaqbanking library (used by Gnucash) was thinking about throwing in the towel on the OFX protocol after some US regulatory changes required banks to have two-factor auth and Intuit wasn't sharing the keys with other vendors.
I liked the straightforward double entry accounting and really everything about Gnucash but having to manually enter the transactions was a PITA so I finally caved and got Quicken 2010.
Of course the douchebags at Intuit are pushing this now:
I refuse to give them another dime, I'd rather use pencil and paper.
