Banned much?

A few years ago I was banned and deleted from a forum.

If they had asked me to simply stop posting, I would have most likely complied after some arguing.

Almost all vacations are BS since the rules aren't posted anywhere. They'll probably vacation me for this post but whatever. The mods just make up most rules as they go along and don't apply them to everyone.

I was permabanned twice. Once for posting something I shouldn't have. And a second time for posting about the fact that I was permabanned.

First ban I got was because I didn't quite believe in Lance Armstrong's greatness as a person and inspiring role model. Some took the single post as if I was disrespecting all people with cancer, rather than just Lance himself.

The subsequent bans I've gotten, I knew I would receive them with my posts, I just still wanted to say what I wrote

OH! Of course, it's in the 'personal forum issues' forum since, you know, I might have issues with my personal forum...

That makes perfect sense, far more sense than putting them on the Forum Rules link at the bottom of every page.

once for admitting to vandalism (and it certainly helps that it was in the context of arguing with someone in P&N that I didn't know was a mod at the time, back in the days of anonymous mods)

the second, I can't remember... probably trolling or posting a parody thread or something stupid like that.

Posted in the very beginning of what turned into a massive "nested-quote" thread. Went to login the next day and couldn't. Emailed a mod who explained what happened and actually apologized for it! (wouldn't lift the ban though lol)

Nope, I have one expired point and a warning. The secret is to do at least as much lurking as posting.

And lol at rsbennett. We have issues here, but that's not really one of them.
